Helping Hands is a new initiative to organize loving care and practical support for persons who are in a crisis or facing a challenge: a new baby, a broken leg, or something else. Referrals to this ministry are initiated by the clergy: A coordinator will contact the person in potential need of help to assess needs. In turn, the coordinator will contact the volunteer list with requests for help based on the assessed needs. Examples of requests: meals, supportive visits, supportive phone calls, sending greeting cards for encouragement, transportation, grocery pickup, etc. The Coordinators are JoAnn Devlin and Louise Hyland. Can you lend a helping hand?
