On Wednesday, Dec. 8 and 15, at 6:30 p.m., learn more about the great Advent hymn “O Come, O Come, Emmanuel.” We’ll reflect on the symbolism in the hymn, which comes from the Old Testament, and explore these sources, and how they may point us to God in Christ. We’ll learn about our tradition of scared music, including other Advents hymns, in addition to the Holy Scriptures and their diverse witnesses to God. Join the meeting using the Sunday Zoom link (the link is sent on Sundays to all who subscribe to the ePistle) and is available upon request. Invite a friend and bring your curiosity.
