In the Episcopal Church, Holy Baptism is appropriately administered within the Eucharist as the chief service on a Sunday or other feast day of the Church Year.
Holy Baptism is appropriate at any age–there is no “right age.” At Holy Trinity, infants, children and adults are welcomed through Holy Baptism into the Body of Christ the Church.
Each candidate for Holy Baptism is to be sponsored by one or more baptized person (the sponsor of a child is commonly called a “godparent”). It is not necessary for a sponsor to be an Episcopalian.
Celebrations of Holy Baptism at Holy Trinity are joyous occasions in which family and friends and the faith community fill the church.
