In the midst of the preparations for celebrating Christmas, you are invited to this service of remembrance and healing. We remember those who we love but see no more and those relationships that are broken. Sometimes we can feel very alone in the midst of this season when there is a constant call to be cheerful.
During our worship we will gather together, bringing our needs before God through the scriptures, quiet meditation, and memorial candle lighting, and prayers for healing. We will support one another and give thanks for the God who offers us hope and comfort by sharing a meal around God’s table. We will hear again God’s promise: “The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who lived in a land of deep shadows-on them light has shined” (Isaiah 9:2).
Please mark your calendar for the Sunday of Advent, Dec. 8, at 4 p.m.
If you now of someone who is in pain, or in need of hope, because of their losses, please invite them. All people are welcome here. For more information contact Deacon Brigitte Pincelli.
