Worship

We worship God every Sunday at 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. (9:00 a.m. during the summer through, June 18-September 3, 2017).  There are also special services for Holy Days.

There are a variety of ways for you to be involved in our worship ministries:

Acolytes:  Youth who are age ten and older may serve at the altar, carry processional torches, carry the processional cross, and assist in other ways.

The Altar Guild prepares the church for worship and cares for the items we use in our worship.

Choir:  Under the direction of our NEW music director Jessica Alcid, the choir leads the congregation in song and performs anthems and other choral works throughout the year.

Lectors read Holy Scripture during worship.

Prayer Leaders help to lead the congregation in public prayer.

Eucharistic Ministers assist with the distribution of the Holy Communion by serving the chalice.

Eucharist Visitors bring the Holy Communion to those unable to attend our worship.

Ushers help to welcome people to our church by greeting visitors, offering hospitality, and guiding people to the communion rail.

If you are interested in volunteering for these ministries, please contact the Rector.
