Rector’s Corner

NewPastor01Effective January 1st, 2015, The Rector (pastor) of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in South River is …

The Rev. Gregory Bezilla!

You can reach Father Greg via email at or by calling the office at (732) 254-1734.

For the past 10 years, Father Bezilla was the Chaplain of Canterbury House, on the Rutgers University campus, where he served as a spiritual leader to an active congregation of young adults.

Father Greg recently posted on his Facebook Page that he is excited to be joining us here at Holy Trinity.

A little bit about Father Greg, in his own words …

“I didn’t grow up in a church. Faith came to me later in life – in grad school – and transformed my life. I’ve been a student at the Johns Hopkins University, Columbia University, and Emory University. I grew up in a university town and still live there.

I’m married to Jacqueline Lapsley, a seminary professor, and we have two children. I enjoy cooking for friends and families, watching movies (classics, indie and art house are my favorites), listening to music (my tastes range from Wagner to Johnny Cash), sitting with a book in a coffee shop, and walking my dog.”

Please join us in welcoming Father Greg to Holy Trinity for this new and exciting time in our history!
