Meet Jessica Alcid, Holy Trinity’s new Music Director!

Jessica’s first Sunday with Holy Trinity was April 23. Learn more about Jessica in the forthcoming Easter issue of The Trumpet, Holy Trinity’s newsletter.

The Music Director ministers with the Parish in mission to the community. S/he supports and encourages congregational singing and appreciation of sacred music, especially from the broad Anglican and Episcopal traditions of church music. S/he directs a volunteer choir and volunteer accompanying instrumentalists. S/he accompanies the choir from the piano or organ and performs instrumental solos. S/he assists with recruiting and trains the choir and supports their Christian formation. S/he supports the musical training and Christian formation of children and youth. S/he collaborates with the Rector on the selection of sacred music and planning for worship. S/he is willing to learn and experiment with new music and liturgical forms. S/he participates in ecumenical and interfaith projects (for example, a community service of thanksgiving).

Holy Trinity’s choir rehearses on Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. No prior experience is necessary, and newcomers are welcome. Please contact Music Director Jessica Alcid for more information:
