The Budget Ministry is looking for ways to encourage regular giving to Holy Trinity and we’re in the process of reviewing outside systems used by many churches in our area and in our dioceses right now.

The systems we are looking would provide a safe, secure option to make weekly, semi-weekly or monthly contributions directly to the church’s bank account. For those of you who are already paying your bills online, you are probably aware of how a system works through a link to our own church web page. You can change the amount or frequency of payments at any time.

Right now, we’re interested in hearing from all members of the parish whether they would be interested in using such a system.

There’s a startup cost and monthly fee but we feel it could produce a reward for the church.

All comments are welcome — positive or negative.  We just want to know how the parish feels about online giving.

It goes without saying that we’re not trying to stop parishioners from putting cash or checks into the collection plates. Those are always welcome.
